How long will my teeth whitening results last?

Because there is such a wide range of whitening options, the average teeth whitening results can last anywhere from 6 months to 3 years. In most cases, however, people tend to have results that last about one year.

How much whiter will my teeth get?

On average, LED teeth whitening procedures can brighten your smile up to 12 shades lighter with the average being 6-8 shades lighter. Overall, the addition of LED lights to whitening procedures has improved the effectiveness of whitening agents, allowing for brighter and whiter smiles.

Will my teeth be sensitive after teeth whitening?

While teeth whitening is very safe and effective, some patients will report post operative tooth sensitivity. The good news is that if you do experience sensitivity it is only temporary; typically resolving itself with within 48 hours. Many patients will not report any sensitivity at all.

Can I whiten my teeth when I'm pregnant?

There is little research to substantiate the safety of teeth whitening throughout pregnancy. Thus, many doctors suggest that pregnant women wait until after delivery before they start a bleaching treatment for their teeth.
